Campus Tours

Participants may select one campus tour during registration:

• Campus Tour #1: Brand New Student Wellness Center & NCAA Basketball Practice Facility
• Campus Tour #2: USD’s Renewable Energy Hub (2MW Solar Array, Battery Energy Storage System, and Natural Gas Fuel Cell)

Registration Fee: $50
Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and a selected campus tour.

Among the suggested hotels, all of which offer discounts, please note the Hilton Garden Inn – Old Town (4200 Taylor Street, San Diego, CA 92110) is the hotel that is closest to USD’s campus, and is almost directly across the street from Casa Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant where the SoCal APPA Board of Directors will host a casual Welcome Social the night before the Drive-In Workshop. *Please note that attendees must use the link provided to access the hotel discounts.

Parking Information:

All SoCalAPPA Drive-In Workshop attendees are encouraged to park in the West Parking Structure. Please note that parking fees apply; the $18 daily rate is more cost-effective than paying the hourly rate.

A tram will operate from both the Ground and Upper levels of the West Parking Structure to transport attendees to and from the workshop. The tram will drop off and pick up at the top of Marian Way, directly across the street from Mother Rosalie Hill Hall, where the workshop will be held.

SoCalAPPA Welcome Social

The SoCal APPA Board of Directors will host a casual Welcome Social on Thursday, March 26th @ 6 PM at Casa Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant (4105 Taylor Street, San Diego, CA 92110). The reception is free and open to all Drive-In Workshop attendees. Please join us for networking and fellowship with fellow Facility Management professionals from Southern California.
